GRATITUDE POEM

I feel gratitude for my family,
because they are next to me constantly.
All the things that I get,
are things that I appreciate.
I also can buy food,
and at least it taste good.
I can go to the school,
and I can have friends that are cool.
Because I can have all of this, I always have to show a good attitude,
and of course I should always feel gratitude.

Let's cooperate together,
it will make us feel better.
There will be no fights,
all along the night.

that we will work very well.

Summer Vacation

This summer vacation I will go to Spain. On june 28 I will be in the plane for 1 hour to go to Thailand ( stay in the airport of Thailand 8 hours) and then 13 hours to arrive to Spain. Then in Spain I will visit my family and my friends ( but i can stay there just 5 days). After 5 days I will go to Bilbao ( a city in the North of Spain) for 28 days. There I will be visting my family and all my friends. Im really excited because I didnt see my family in 2 years ( either my friends)...( i will do PART 2 at home because this is very short :) )

PARAGRAPH ABOUT MY FAVOURITE SPORT

My favourite sport is volley ball, because it's fun, is a team game, and an active game. It's a fun game because we always help each other and cheer our team. I also like it because is a team game, were we play together, win together, or lose together: but whatever happen, we will congratulate each other. Another reason ( and the most important) is that it is an active, healthy and exercising game. Volley ball is my favourite sport because we play together, we have a lot of fun, and we burn calories.

TESTING AIRPLANES

Q7:Describe effects that the paper clips had on your airplane's flight.Use the following terms in your description: mass, gravity, distance, flight.
The clips are very good for my plane's flight, because it makes my plane fly further and have less gravity.The distance increase and that way is better to land. If my plane is heavier, i need more thrust, to overcome the weight, so it can fly further.

Q8: Based on this investigation, describe what you think are important factors to consider when designing an airplane.
 I think the important factors are to make the nose of the plane sharp, also to make a little hole in the tail and close a little the back of the plane together ( instead of being all open).
I think is important to make it streamlined and make lift overcome weight and thrust overcome drag.

COURAGE!

I think courage mean to be brave and do not be afraid.

For example: Today I was pretty nervous on the stage, right before the performance. But I was thinking on my mind " Don't be nervous,have courage and be optimistic"

Who? George Cayley

What? Many consider him the first true scientific aerial investigator and the first person to understand the underlying principles and forces of flight. Designer of the first successful glider to carry a human being aloft, he discovered and identified the four aerodynamic forces of flight-weight,lift,thrust and drag are in effect on any flight vehicle.

When? in 1799 he set forth the concept of the modern aeroplane as a fixed-wing flying machine with separate systems for lift, propulsion, and control

How? He continued his research using models and by 1807 had come to understand that a curved lifting surface would generate more lift than a flat surface of equal area.

Why? Because he had published his now-classic three-part treatise "On Aerial Navigation" which stated that lift, propulsion and control were the three requisite elelments to successful flight, apparently the first person to so realize and so state.

Perseverance ^ ^

What is perseverance?

Perseverance mean NEVER give up.
It mean persist doing something, though you think that is hard.

When is it important to have perseverance?

-I think it is important for example when you are trying to find a book at home (that you lost and you cannot find).YOU NEED TO BE PERSEVERANCE.

My friends in Spain

This post is dedicate to my friends in Spain ^^¨
It has been a long time, since I saw my Spanish friends last time,but I miss them a lot. I´m going to tell you how they are and how is our friendship:
-One of my best friends is June: She was always with me and trying to make me smile. We´ve been always hanging out together and sleeping over. Our friendship is so strong and whatever happens it will never be broken.

- Marina: She is very funny, she is always laughing at anything and she likes too much celebrities and  fashion.Actually she is a fashion victim. =)

- Silvia: She is always thinking about TV series and singing all the songs of High School Mucical, Camp Rock, Miley Cyrus...

- Irene: She is very good in sports and dancing. We went together to the gym and after that we slept over.

-Maria: she is always with me in sad and happy moments. She is always telling me how much she miss me since I left Spain and she is making a plan for the day I go back.

There are more friends but this post is very short to name all of them. (LL) I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

OPTIMISM

What is optimism?
I think OPTIMISIM is:
- Hopefulness and confidence about the future or the success of something.
- Look on the more favorable side of events or conditions and to expect the most favorable outcome.
-The belief that good ultimately predominates over evil in the world.

What are you optimistic about for 2011?My otimistic is to pass all the subjects with good records ^^
